These posts are getting fewer and farther between and I don’t like it! So from now on my goal is to make at least one blog post a week! There have been so many amazing meals made that I’ve neglected to post so I will make up for it shortly in an epic jumble of photos.
Okay so about this gooey goodness shown above. For lent, I have given up sweets (ie. chocolates, girl scout cookies, cakes, cupcakes, candy, and basically anything that makes girls happy). It feels like its been a month since I’ve started this, or should I say ended this obsession with sweets, but its only been 12 days!!!! I couldn’t stand it anymore, especially being a girl, sometimes you just have to have your chocolate. So, to satisfy my craving and prevent me from ripping my boyfriends head off I made the healthiest “treat” not sweet I could think of:
Carob Peanut Butter
1 tbsp creamy all natural peanut butter
1/2 tsp carob powder (like cocoa but more rich and nutty chocolate flavor)
1/4 tsp honey
Thats it! Three simple ingredients, stir them together and you can enjoy a healthy treat that will satisfy your cravings and not make you feel like a cheat!
