tuna salad avocado boats

This is a really simple and fun way to serve a tuna salad. Avocado adds a nice buttery and creamy texture to the average tuna salad.

2 cans of tuna (in water)
1 stalk celery
2 tbsp mayo
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tbsp relish
1/2 tsp mustard

1. Remove the avocado seed. Scoop out the insides, leaving a thin layer attached to the skin.
2. Mix all of the above ingredients together with the drained tuna, except the avocado. Dice the avocado and gently fold it into the tuna. Place the tuna mixture into the avocados and serve!

  1. Yum! This looks very good, and seems very easy. I’ve never combined avocado with tuna, but it sounds like a great mix! Wonder how this would taste as a dip with crackers?
